How Do You Recycle Paint?
While lead- and oil-based paints are toxic and should be taken to a hazardous waste facility, latex paint is recyclable. If you’re confused if your paint is recyclable, check the EPA guidelines for assistance.
A number of latex paint manufacturers accept unused paint for recycling. Most paint gets recycled into new latex paint, while the rest is usually used to make cement.
