Thin Film Technology

Thin film technology presents a new way to harness the sun’s energy for electrical power without using poly-silicon material normally used for solar panels. Traditional photovoltaic (PV) panels are made with poly-silicon, which is in very short supply. This is why thin film panels present, so far, the most promising way to increase the use of solar power and lowering its cost.
