National Green Building Standard

A set of criteria that is used to asses the design, construction and renovation of residential buildings considering their environmental impact and sustainability. The National Green Building Standard was established by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). It also takes into account the building project’s unique location and regional characteristics when necessary.
