A catch phrase that covers various sustainable technology and methods, including the use of renewable energy, green chemistry and biofuels. Loosely, the term refers to a range of products, services and processes that make use of renewable materials and energy sources, in effect reducing the use of natural resources and reducing pollution as well as waste.
