For those of you getting a new iPhone 4, recycling your old phone is very important. Here’s how.
Were you one of the lucky ones that was able to place a preorder on the iPhone 4? If so, you could be receiving a new phone as early as this Thursday, when the iPhone 4 officially debuts.
Those expecting a package or in-store pick-up on Thursday should start thinking about recycling their old iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPhone 3Gs. Luckily, Apple has a free recycling program in place, both in Apple stores and via mail order.
If you ordered the iPhone 4 and don’t currently have an Apple phone, you can find a cell phone recycling location near you using 1-800-RECYCLING.com’s recycling location search.
